I've got 2 pieces of bad news. and I'm sure which one is worse. Lol.

The first one is EXAMS ARE COMING!

Alright this one is inevitable and everyone's going through it with me..okay except shihan.hahaha. This sem passes really fast, before I even realise it reaches the end already. and I still have no confidence in pulling up my cap T^T

so we decided to ask around for help.
and we got replies like,

anyway, the 2nd bad news is about the flood in Thailand.

In case I din't mention here, Joseph and I planned a Bangkok trip a few weeks ago, and we've already booked both hotels and flights. Everything's settled and I was happily waiting for exams to end. But for now, the situation worsens every single day and we can't be so optimistic anymore. So we're thinking of changing the dates or going some other places instead.

I really dun like the feeling of re-planning everything from zero when everything's already been planned. But no choice!:(

and I apparently dun wan to take the risk of doing this!

Oh man, there're so many natural disasters.

Earlier in this year, my mum and I booked Japan trip and in the end it was cancelled cause of the earthquake. So we changed our destination to Turkey instead. and soon after I returned to Singapore, an earthquake occurred in Turkey too. Then now is Thailand. As that day I was telling my cousin about this, she was like:" you better dun come back Nanjing!" LOLL!

Okay, back to the appendix of my ES project.

Can't wait for this week to end! Grrrrrr.

One day, cat and pig went into the forest. Accidentally, cat fell into a hole and she asked pig for help. But pig's so scared and he din't know what to do. Cat told him to go get a rope and throw down to her. After a while, pig came back with the rope and he threw down the whole bundle to cat. Cat told pig that he should have held on to one end of the rope to pull her up instead of throwing down the whole bundle. Right after cat finished her sentence, pig jumped down into the hole and picked up one end of the rope, said" hey, I did what you asked me to do."

Cat cried. But crying with smile.

I know it would make you "HUH?" but seriously I din't suffer from any menstrual cramps before today! Because of it, I've been told that my life's incomplete as I missed out a stage that every girl's supposed to go through.hahaha.

But now, I can proudly announce that....

It's been a while since the last time I sat down in front of the computer and decided to reflect a bit upon myself in this space. Partially thanks to the presentation I've done today, on the topic of reflection.haha.

School's busy, with loads of projects assignments presentations and midterms, all the old stuffs as usual. But I always manage to get my time to rest, although I know I shouldn't be doing that too often, especially when everyone else's studying really hard and I have super a lot to catch up. Sometimes, I've been wondering is it really I'm too comfortable living in my own way? Being over-optimistic about everything, believing that all the problems would get solved eventually when it is the time.

But when exactly is the time?

Maybe it's just my fault of being too lazy in the sense that I'll tend to look at the positive side which gives me no problems, and then no problems give me the excuse of not thinking of solutions to counter them. But the problems stay and the consequence shows.

hmm..actually all I wanna say is at this point of time in my life, I'm still rather aimless and uncertain of my future. 2 years of uni have passed and yet I feel that I din't really learn. Lol.

alright, guess I'm really tired. All the words start getting blurred.haha.

The first sem of year 3 has finally started.
RE modules are boring as usual. I seriously can't concentrate, for even half an hour. However, the good thing is RE tutorials will only start in week5, so for now I can still enjoy my 3-day week.

BUT,
I hate 9am tutorials. I totally hate it when I'm forced to leave my bed at 750am on every wed and fri:( had my first prof comm tutorial this morning, and I was late for 20mins, as expected -.- will try to make it earlier next time, I mean I will TRY! Lol.

and I've seen so many familiar faces disappearing for this sem, leaving for SEP all those.

like Rui Jun, she's flying this week, to US.

With prof comm and hr management, this sem won't be a easy one I'm quite certain about it. and the upcoming entries will be filled with grumbles I can assure you!hahaha.no lah.maybe I won't even have time to complain, projects will definitely eat up all my time:(

It's August.
Oh man, I din't expect it to come so soon.
But I wouldn't deny that this holiday was long, cause I've been travelling to many places, even the most exotic place imaginable for me....TURKEY!

actually our original destination was Japan, then changed to Taiwan cause of the earthquake, and finally Turkey, because the Taiwan package din't sound appealing. hahaha.

hmm, I wouldn't say I love Turkey a lot. But it's indeed an eye-opening experience. At least now my impression of Turkey will no longer be merely about Turkish ice cream and Istanbul. and HEY, it's my first time been to Europe..maybe just a small part of Europe? hahaha!

I thought I could finally get a chance to buy some souvenir back from this place, cause I heard there're over 4000 stores inside. Then after I went in, I realized they're all selling similar stuffs like carpets, leather products, ceramic bowls and plates and jewelries. Can you imagine? 4000 stores selling the same thing? and it took us quite a while to find the way out. It's such a giant maze. -.-

the Egyptian spice market.

this would be a much better place to choose your souvenir. as it mainly caters to local people, the prices here are much reasonable too. Basically they're selling all kinds of homemade sweets, dried fruit snacks, nuts and spices. and the people there are all VERY friendly, kept offering us free samples to try(:

the well-known Turish ice cream.

It's very yummy cause it's not so creamy, but kind of chewy!(:

and.....

I think the best part of this trip is the HOT AIR BALLOON!
It's about 200USD per pax. But it's like a must-try when you go to Cappadocia and I think it's totally worth the money...the view was awesome and you won't feel any fluctuation in the air at all. Very steady throughout the journey.

Oh yes, the people there are incredibly friendly, especially the kids.
Random people on the streets will smile to you, say hi to you and even ask you to take photos with them.hahaha.so cute!(:

Okay the last thing, which is what I dun wanna mention the most, Turkish food.

Initially I thought it's my taste abit different from other people, but towards the end of the trip, more and more people started to not turn up for catered meals:X
Really regret of not bringing enough instant noodles there.HAHA.

I know the food here looks perfectly fine. But they JUST look nice okay? ._.

This week hasn't been a good one.
Projects start to accumulate as tutorials stepped in,
got to meet new people from project groups and dhoppers.

Everything's going fine.
It's just me,
I feel lost.

When I was young, for quite a few times, I dreamt of a track that's submerged in a river. As the train passes by, the river ripples gently and then goes still again. The exact scene appeared in the Japanese movie Spirited Away, I watched it over and over again. The setting's so familiar, and I always have the feeling that I've been to there before. The scene has been engraved in my mind, I can still vividly remember it till now.

I duno where's the track leading me to. And I've never reached the end of track in my dream. I was walking along the track. walking and walking. the path's just never ending. But I'm kinda enjoy the peace.

I can't read dreams. Neither can i interpret the hidden meanings.

Okay, it's very random.
But for now,
I'm really wondering,
is it the right track for me?
where will it lead me to eventually?

my first time to disneyland.

and we made a new friend there.

then after that, we flew to enjoy the pinky season of Sakura in Japan.
and to catch the first snow in Finland.

and to have sun-tanning with the camels in Egypt.

it is probably the most complex show i've ever watched
all characters in the show entangled themselves into complicated relationships.

though it was highly recommended by some of my friends
it din't turn out as nice as i expected for the first few episodes
maybe i dun really like the setting
the atmosphere made me feel very depressed
suicide.drug.failed relationship.

but it's getting much nicer towards the end
when all of them meet up again
made me cannt stop crying
it's like they've gone through so many things together and finally learnt how to 坦诚相对to themselves, to friends, to family and to their love ones.

but its been so long already.haha

the 3-month holiday is reaching an end soon
it doesn't seem that long at all.
i was just like slacking my life away and can't really recall what did i do.lol.

and i went to 3 theme parks.
and watched 2 movies.
and went to see shanghai expo and got myself really tanned
and spent numerous hours in a bookshop in nanjing cos its very near my house

SHOPPING is my life.

had overdoes of shopping for the past few days.and i'm still craving for it..haha.i think my urge to shop will never come to an end xD

anyway.went to Tanglin Shopping Centre for our field trip ytd..what?never heard of it before? dun worry.it's also my first time there..and believe me.2 weeks ago i din't even know there's this place in Singapore..

so while waiting for kailin to join us.we decided to walk around first and get some photos..the whole shopping centre was so quiet and we hardly saw any shoppers..

so we slack around..grab a quick bite...

and not forgetting..to act serious..HAHAHA (:

in the end.we managed to interview the management (the person in charge was quite nice and answered majority of our questions) and wandered around the building to get response from different tenants (most of them were quite cooperative and willing to share their opinions..but some were...ahem ahem.haha)

it was really a tiring journey and finally we've done it...

yay.end of the day :D

then after that.cabbed down to bugis with laopo for shopping (:

bought alot of expected things though..which were not inside my shopping list initially..haha.

and we had LARGE ice-blended drinks at coffee bean with the $1 off voucher from the goodie bags we got from central forum earlier on..haha.so desperate to use them up..

caught Alice in Wonderland this Saturday with chingman and qinya..we've been talking about the show since like the end of last year..and finally...hahaha

abit disappointed though.the show din't turn out to be as fantastic as i expected..hmm.the storyline was quite plain.not very interesting..maybe the focus of the show is on its overall effect ba.but sadly we din't watch the 3D version..

feels that i din't watch movie for quite long already.my last show was The Treasure Hunters..miss the days in J2 when we always went for movie..almost once per week.hahaha.crazy days (:

anyway..after movie.we went 313 for dinner.ate at this pasta restaurant..

i'm blogging at work..cos very bored..no calls..totally slacking xD

life's getting busier recently..i thought it would come to a rest after concert but actually numerous projects already started to pile up and i'll need to catch up with my far-lagged-behind schoolwork..oh my!

still missing EMERGE days.when we had subway for dinner everyday.when we skipped lectures just to meet up and practise.when we ran to bus stop to catch the last bus home.when we had emotional ups and downs cos of people's comments of our item.when we replayed the same songs over and over again....life won't be so fulfilling without you all (:

i really need motivation and concertration like URGENTLY..project deadlines coming.exams coming..but holidays still seem far far away..52 more days to taiwannnnnnn..i can't wait for may already.hahaha~~

anyway.i realize i can control my emotions better nowadays.it no longer fluctuates vigorously due to external factors.which is a good sign..maybe too many things happened and they have already numbed my feelings..

had my first tuition with huilian this morning.heard from kinmun that she's got quite alot questions to ask and her tuition on sat extended until 1:45 which was supposed to end at 1:00..then i was telling kinmun.i'll make it end at 1:00 sharp!

i'm such a kind soul...but she really looked worried about her results.and she told me she got band practice very intensively.

okay.now i wanna mention a very important issue which is concerning the SERVICE of SINGAPORE TRANSPORTATION.

when we were searching for Chan Brothers this afternoon.we went to ask this auntie who is a staff at Chinatown station for help..she's very friendly and helpful..after we approached her.she told us she not sure about it but immediately she headed for the control station to ask the staff over there and showed us the correct direction in the end.

that was still okay..when we were finally reaching.he missed the exit where he's supposed to turn in.so he actually made a big big round and still charged me exact!

this wednesday was such a fulfilling day..
though i missed my cca outing =X
anyway.let me skip the project discussion in the morning.
and..go straight to the main point.
i met SODAGREEN finally~~
they had autograph session for their latest album at bugis junction.
supposed to reach there at 6:30.1 hour before the event started.but i was trapped in traffic jam on my way there..though i left hostel damn early..i was still late in the end..so suay :(

there were already quite alot people crowded around the stage when i finally made my way there.. so we chose an ideal spot at the side of stage.
yay..so excited to see them XD

actually i was using lynn's camera and i had no idea how to activate the flashlight.

so the photos all quite dark here..haha

and i realized that i'm so 偏心...cos i seemed to only focus on 青峰when i took those photos =P

yea..here comes the 青峰模仿比赛..

the girl actually sprayed her hair green..but such a pity she forgot her lyrics halfway.

this girl sang quite well.although dint sound like 青峰..haha

yea..this is the winner.

jinquan's birthday

yea..jinquan's birthday fell on last sunday..we celebrated for him on saturday instead-dongdong's outing day.haha..so jinquan decided to have a bbq at his house and asked us to reach around evening time..but you know.我们就是这么贱..met up at 1 plus instead to surprise him..lol.

before we about to reach.seowjin.who was already there.psycho-ed him to go bathe first so that we had enough time to sneak into his room and hide ourselves.

we sabo-ed joseph to hide under the bed..so that when jinquan come back from bathe.he could grab his leg to scare him..but at the first place.we need to make sure to let jinquan sit at the edge of his bed.if not joseph would just suffocate himself inside..haha

haha..hide properly hide properly..

and guess what.in the end.kaiwen also wanted to hide inside with joseph.
so actually jinquan would be scared twice. so poor thing.haha

then the rest of us just ~~hide~~ squeezed ourselves behind the door..and everything settled.

but for some reason jinquan took super long to bathe this time..
so we waited waited and waited...

still waiting..

and waiting.

and still still still...

so slow~~

and lucas decided not to waste his precious time waiting.
so he went to some corner to read his newspaper..
in fact..he already started reading it when he was behind the door with us.lol

this year we were so poorly prepared.then everything just impromptu.haha
oh anyway.the hosts for this year were 贪吃鬼(me) and 贪吃猪(seowjin).
here comes the first part..才艺大对抗.
everyone was supposed to show off his talent to jinquan so as to boost morale in the competition later on.

so here's the 撑腰 dance by juyin and shihan

they even locked themselves inside the toilet to practise for it before the whole thing has started.
haha.

then followed by kaiwen's magic..

and joseph's pen spinning trick.

jinquan decided to challenge joseph..but failed.lol

okay..now it's time for challenges.

jinquan was asked to pick 1 challenge and also his opponent.

the winner got to prize while the loser got to do forfeit..haha

for the 1st round.我要唱上去( meaning the one can sing with higher pitch wins )

since we couldn't tell who actually sang higher.they both got the prize..haha

here's the touching challenge.

jinquan was to guess something correctly by simply touching it with 2 fingers while blindfolded.

HAHA..the blindfolder suits him so well.

and 'sing with me' challenge.

he was to ask his family member to sing a song together with him

well..he chose to sabo his younger brother.

i think the funniest part was the dancing challenge.

he and his opponent (which happened to be elise) were to follow the dance in the video..

din't know he dance so well la..haha

'yay.i'm the dancing king~~'

HAHAHA.

so elise was made to do forfeit..which was to call someone and make him say some phrases without she mentioning herself.

she tried to contact 3 persons.but none of them picked up..haha

okay.the last challenge before bbq started.

tasting challenge.

seowjin:'ok.now i'm going to blindfold you and ask you to taste some food.you'll get the prize if you guess correctly.'

jinquan:'where's the food?'

here it goes.

jinquan:'hmmm..what is this?'

haha.i think he even gave answers like cheese before he finally got it right..haha

so after that we went downstairs for bbq.

shin-chan has accompanied me for almost 7 years already..and it's one of my favourite anime..

just came back from cca.with alot of "huh?" in my mind.haha
they taught us harmonization today..with all the base note.scale harmony.upper harmony and lower harmony..all the jargons came in =X
and they tried to demo how it works using 说好的幸福呢.it was awesome..but i was totally clueless..lol do.re.mi.fa.so.la.ti.do!!

orh.and there's voices outing this coming wednesday.will be going topone followed by steamboat..sounds so fun hor..hopefully i'll be able to take leave on that day so can join them for the fun~

anyway.these 2 days i'm having job training at NUH.
it started yesterday..the first day seemingly passed very slow.cos i was very sleepy when catherine went through all the fundamental info and skills with me.but when came to the practical session..which started today..things turned out to be more interesting.cos i need to talk talk talk and talk alot moreeee..haha
i think catherine is quite a nice person. dint get any scoldings from her although i kept making stupid mistakes.she just pointed them out nicely for me..but i felt paiseh..found myself rather dumb sometimes -_____-
hmm.hopefully can get improved through more practices..

today..being the last day before recess week..was simply a joke.lol
alot funny things took place simultaneously and i could hardly stop laughing for the whole day..
HAHAHA!!

anyway..dad told me my dear sharp phone was fixed a few days ago..and mum's going back soon..so she can shun bian help me bring back..heeee:D
can't wait to see it again..

oh.my work at NUH call centre starts tmr.err.i mean later.haha.it'll be training first..
hopefully everything will be fine.

it seems that we never celebrate birthday for aaron before..did we?
he said his birthday last year was the last day of prelims.omg.i dun remember at all..prelims and a levels sound like so distant for me..haha

anyway.went to ecp for bbq last saturday to celebrate aaron's birthday..
i came up with the idea of testing him how well he knows dongdongs..and he'll be rewarded for every 4 correct answers..so i went to jurong point with seowjin beforehand to get some presents for him..

i personally prefer the black furry toy..there's a hidden mirror inside.so cute rite?
and the clip stand (if you can't see.it's the dog..haha) was chosen by seowjin..
she insisted that the dog simply looks like aaron..haha

so yea..on saturday.we met up first to get the food..
and then..started the bbq~~

windy days are really not for bbq..cos we started the fire for like super long~~haha

here comes the quiz session.
apart from getting presents for correct answers.aaron was also made to do forfeit for each wrong answer given.

like...stuff 5 crabsticks into his month..

if he's uncertain about the answer.he has 3 chances to ask for help also..
however.if the helper fails to give the right answer.they have to do forfeit together.haha~
orh hor..seowjin told him the wrong answer..
so we made them go to the sea.and asked seowjin to shout'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'followed by a 'THANK YOU' from aaron.
guess what.in the end.i think aaron shouted louder..haha

but in the end.aaron dint fail to collect all the presents..
and of course..THE CAKE (:
lighting up candles..
trying very hard to prevent the flame being blown off..

joseph looks very helpful here...

oh.by the way..we tried the pink pringles in the end.it was sadly not picked by aaron when he was asked to choose presents..

and..we forced joseph to take the rest home.
